What to expect

Arriving
Come as you are — there’s no dress code at Revive. Some people dress smartly, others come straight from their week in their jeans. You’ll be greeted at the door by someone from our welcome team who can show you around and answer any questions.
The service
Our Sunday service starts at 10:45am. Our gatherings usually last around 90 minutes and include worship through singing, prayer, Bible teaching that’s practical and easy to follow, and time to respond to what we’ve heard. On some Sundays we share Holy Communion, and everyone who follows Jesus is welcome to take part — there’s never any pressure to do anything you’re not comfortable with.
Afterwards
Stay for tea, coffee and a chat. Many of the best conversations at Revive happen after the service, not during it.
Children & families
Children are always welcome in our main service, and we work towards providing age-appropriate activities so they can learn about Jesus in a way that makes sense to them. Just let a member of our welcome team know when you arrive and they’ll point you in the right direction.
Frequently asked questions
Will I be expected to give money?
No. There is no expectation for visitors to give financially. Your presence matters far more than any gift.
Can I take communion?
Yes, if you follow Jesus. If you’re exploring faith or would simply prefer not to, that’s completely fine too.
Will someone make me stand up or speak?
No. You’re welcome to simply watch, listen and take part exactly as much as feels comfortable.
What if I have to leave early or my child gets upset?
That’s normal church life — please don’t worry about it. Slip out whenever you need to.
Do I need to book?
No booking is needed for a regular Sunday service. Just come along.
